Carriers with late-onset Alzheimer's disease who have rs892086(T;T) genotypes appear to have less DNM2 mRNA in their brains, according to a study of 429 Japanese patients, and among non-ApoE4 carriers, appear to be at increased risk for developing Alzheimer's disease.
