AC/CC and CA/AA were associated with a moderately increased risk of developing a second primary malignancy (SPM) (adjusted hazard ratio [aHR], 1.48) in patients with index squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck (SCCHN) [R].

After definitive chemoradiotherapy, HPV-positive oropharyngeal cancer patients having AC/CC variant genotypes had significantly better overall, disease-specific and disease-free survival than those having AA genotype, respectively [R].

AC/CC versus AA genotypes were significantly associated with an increased risk of differentiated thyroid carcinoma (DTC) (OR=1.7) [R].
